Romestead Review
I’ve played about 30 hours of Romestead (Early Access) at the time of writing this, and I gotta say, I love this game. As a Stardew Valley and Terraria fan, this game has it all and keeps me hooked. It allows for sandbox style creativity, hours and hours of exploration, and freedom to discover and uncover areas on the map and new items and enemies! I highly recommend checking out this game, you will not be disappointed!

Romestead for the Stardew Valley Fan
Romestead has an art style that is reminiscent of Graveyard Keeper, with a base building style like Stardew Valley, but with a ton more. The NPCs can be found around the map and recruited to live at your settlement to help with jobs around the base (such as blacksmith, carpenter, farmer, baker, etc). The NPCs can level up over time in their role. The recruiting of NPCs reminds me of Necesse, but with NPCs handling production instead of combat/expeditions.

[Spoiler] You can set up multiple bases across the map, eventually building teleports to faster travel between them! When playing multiplayer, each player can have more than one base, which you can travel to, main quest progress is shared, as well as offerings to the gods and progression.
There is also an individual skill tree, you gain favour points by leveling up doing everyday tasks.

Making Offerings to the Gods in Romestead

You can offer anything and everything to the Gods. Different items will give you more worship value, some special items can be found across the map to give you a large amount of worship. The worship values are used to unlock perks. Each God has its own set of perks.
Is Romestead Worth Buying?
Yes! If you typically enjoy survival crafting games, you will very much enjoy Romestead. I was very surprised with how much was in this game, and how easily it got me hooked. I’m giving this game a 5 star review, as its still in Early Access at the time of writing this, which means they will be adding in even more in the future!
